Alex Acheampong (PROJECT MONITORING & EVALUATION EXPERT)

Mr. Acheampong has over twenty-six year working experience in project leadership roles in information technology driven business process re-engineering solutions with specialized leveraged experience to support M&E and ICT4D project initiatives in sub Saharan Africa. He is results oriented and self driven professional capable of managing multiple projects, build effective, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, seek out and develop strategic, innovative solutions to meet clients’ objectives.
Mr. Acheampong has lectured at Ghana Institute for Public Administration (GIMPA) on the World Bank’s 10 steps to Results Based M&E Seminar. He was the Lead facilitator in the 10 Steps to RBM seminar for the Institute as part Capacity Building initiative. For two years He worked at the Ghana National Development Planning Commission (GNDP), working on the Ghana Poverty Reduction Strategy II - Mapped performance indicators to data collection templates based on the three pillars of the Results Framework. Prior the GNDP), Mr. Acheampong worked as Project Team Lead & Manager for closed to ten year for clients like Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, GE Capital Corporation and PHH Mortgage.
Mr. Acheampong participated in an International Program for Evaluation Training (IPDET) organized by the World Bank at the Carleton University, Canada. He has also participated in a Six-Sigma-Quality training, with focus on green belt designation, DFSS project implementation experience and Statistical and data base modeling skills.
He is holder of a Post Graduate program in Operations Research from the Columbia University, New York, a Post Graduate program in Management from McGill University, Canada, a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods from Concordia University, Canada and a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology, Ghana

Moses Duphey (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT EXPERT) |
Mr. Duphey has an excellent and vast environmental management and protection working experience spanning over twenty-three years. His working experience with the Environmental Protection Agency of Ghana (EPA) offered him invaluable insight into the procedures and requirements for successful environmental permit applications. Moses has conducted over sixty Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) including environmental and social impact assessments (ESIA) for the World Bank, International Finance Corporation (IFC), The Netherlands Finance Corporation (FMO), The European Development Bank, Danish Development Agency (Danida), BURGEAP International, France as well as Government of Ghana. Others include Volta River Authority Resettlement Trust Fund; the West African Gas Pipeline Project, Trassaco Estate Housing Project, Accra; and the St Jude Resources Mining Concession at Hwini Butre and Mpohor Concessions, Western Region.
Moses was the consultant for the Environmental Management Systems for the billion-dollar Obajana Cement project in Kogi State, Nigeria funded by IFC, FMO and European Development Bank. He is currently an International advisor on Environmental and Social responsibility to IFC, FMO and the Obajana Cement Plc.

Felix Tetteh-fio
(CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND PUBLIC POLICY EXPERT) |
Mr. Tetteh-fio joint the team with tremendous experience from both the public and private sectors of the economy. He holds an M.A. degree in economics and Econometrics from the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK after first obtaining a B. A. in Economics and Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Mr. Tetteh-fio’s working career spun across the Ghana Statistical Service where he headed teams at various times working on generating, analyzing and forecasting price (inflation), and public finance statistics. He later worked Cal Bank (then Cal Merchant Bank) as Economist for the bank and its subsidiaries. Here his duties included advising the group on macroeconomic and microeconomic trends of the global and local economy for policy formulation and pricing of the bank’s products and services. This was followed by a brief tint with the flagship think-tank Centre for Policy Analysis (CEPA) as research economist. His most immediate assignment was with the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana as an Advisor on Financial and Economic Policy. Here his duties entailed providing advice on viable options to the presidency on a broad range of financial and economic policies; co-ordinating, monitoring and evaluating cross cutting economic and financial policies within government entities.

Wise M. K. Agbetsiafa
(SME & Micro-finance Specialist) |
Mr. Agbetsiafa has several years working experience with SMEs and Micro-finance companies in Ghana. He worked as the Finance & Management Control Specialist on the PRODEC/USADF/Ghana Partnership Programme. He worked on the SME Sector Development Partnership between INPRODEC and the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) with the objective of promoting SMEs Development that was expected to generate employment and increase income levels toward poverty reduction. Under the project, his responsibility also included the business development activities for the benefit of SMEs and Micro-Finance Intuitions (MFIs). He has also handled the monitoring and supervision of operation and the management of the following Micro-Finance Companies: Mumuadu Rural Bank Micro Credit Scheme (Osino, near Nkawkaw); Nsoatreman Women Empowerment Micro Credit Scheme (Nsoatre, Sunyani); Nkoranza-Kwabre Rural Inventory and Micro Enterprise Project (Akuma, Nkoranza); Saabuyiri Small Farm Inputs Producers’ Project (Walewale, Northern Region); Blekusu Women’s Fish Processing Project, (Blekusu, near Denu, Volta Region); ASHA Women Arresting Poverty with Micro Finance Project (Tamale); CAD Micro Credit Project (Tamale).
Mr. Agbetsiafa , prior to the above assignment , worked as an account for the Award Accountancy, East Ham, London (UK).
Mr. Agbetsiafa is a holder of ACCA Professional qualification, an MBA in Project Management & Consultancy from the University of East London (UK), a B.Com. Hons. (First Class Honours) Degree and Diploma in Education both from the University of Cape Coast
He is also a fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting (UK), a member of the Association for Project Management (UK), a member of the Chartered Management Institute (UK) and a member of the Ghana Institute of Management.

Kojo Hastings
(Business Development) |
Mr. Hastings has more than eighteen years exemplary working experience from the UK in different management roles. He previously worked for Southern Railway Limited, UK in a similar role. Member of Chartered Managers Institute with MBA, Kojo developed and led the implementation of strategies towards business delivery, providing service and information to contractors and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with legislation within the Directorate’s responsibilities in the Go-Ahead group member of Southern Rail limited.
Mr. Hastings has valuable experience in identification, development and implementation of business strategies and development and also has qualifications in television and radio media., as well as experience in customer service delivery and contract management.

Hammond K. Mensah

Mr. Mensah is a business development specialist with over 5 years experience in working with national and multinational non-governmental and governmental organizations to provide business development services to the private sector across Ghana. He has worked as the Assistant Programme Coordinator for the Business-to-Business (B2B), a Public Private Partnership and Mixed Credit programs of the Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA), Accra. He is currently the Principal Manager of HKM resources, Tamale.
Mr. Mensah holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Liverpool, MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Bsc. (Hons) Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi

Festus Quansar
(LAND, PROPERTY AND FIXED ASSETS AND FEASIBILITY STUDY SPECIALIST) Valuer |
Mr. Quansar is a full-time Engineering, Valuation and Management Consultant and a government Gazetted Marine Surveyor. He is currently involved in assignmment in Feasibility Studies, Technical Audit, Engineering Training, Project Management, Project Appraisal, Development and Monitoring, Industrial Development and Management, Engineering Design and Development, Supervision of Construction and Installation and Condition Assessment and Valuation of Plant, Machinery, Equipment and Vehicles.
Mr. Quansar gained enomous working experience over the years on various assignment conducted for DANIDA Private Sector Development Programme since 1993 to date has been involved with Pre-Investment studies, Project Implementation , Project Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation, Technical Auditing and Valuation of Assets. Some of the major areas involved are Plastic Fish Boxes Project, Strip Planked Epoxy Glued Canoe Construction Project, Life Saving Equipment Project, Metal Stitching Project (a cold repair technology on Cast Iron), and Polyurethane Project. Others include FlourMill Project, Dehydrated Fruits Project in Ghana, Windmill Project, Farming, Agro Processing, Wood, Forestry, Pharmaceuticals, Machine Shops and others. The Marine Survey assignments include Conditional Surveys and Valuation of both merchant and cargo vessels and steel and wooden fishing vessels.
